No: 223, 29 July 2019, Press Release Regarding The Terrorist Attack In Afghanistan
We received the news with sorrow that a terror attack which took place at an election campaign office in Kabul, capital of Afghanistan resulted in loss of at least 20 lives and left many others wounded, including a vice-presidential candidate.
We strongly condemn this heinous terror attack which targeted democratic rights of Afghan people. We wish Allah’s mercy upon who lost their lives and wish speedy recovery to the wounded, and convey our condolences to the brotherly Afghan people and Government.
We hope that presidential election process in Afghanistan will be conducted in a peaceful and secure environment.
